Wild Dunes Staycation

Last week, I indulged in a luxurious overnight staycation at Wild Dunes Resort with my two blogger gals Hilary (@byhilaryrose) and Jaime (@charlestonblonde)! Wild Dunes is a beautiful oceanfront resort right outside of Charleston on Isle of Palms. I was a bit nostalgic during my stay, because I had previously visited Wild Dunes on numerous family vacations growing up! I remember dancing on the boardwalk to live music, riding our bikes through the resort, and, of course, lounging on the beach all day! (I definitely had to add some throwback pics for y’all! I’m the littlest nugget pictured below with my family!… circa 2001!) It was great to be back to see all of the new additions and relive the good ole days!

All of our rooms at the Boardwalk Inn had a gorgeous view of the beach! I couldn’t complain waking up to the sunrise and sitting out on the balcony hearing the ocean. I was so cozy in my Kassatex jammies and we loved being surprised with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries!

For breakfast and dinner, we dined at Coastal Provisions which is located in the Boardwalk Inn. The food was amazing and the staff was incredibly accommodating! (Some of us had certain dietary needs, for example I am a vegetarian, and without question, the staff made sure none of us went hungry!) We also enjoyed cocktails and mimosas in cabanas by the pool.

After brunch, we went for a walk down the boardwalk. It is lined with colorful houses that lead right to the beach!

Finally, we ended the trip with a bike ride on the beach! (Peep Jaime’s adorable little pup who came to play with us!) Bikes are available for rent for the whole fam and all of your friends.
