The weather has been constantly changing in Charleston. It’s hot, it’s cold, it’s raining, it’s snowing (ok, so it only snowed once here and that was a rare occasion, but still!). I’m stuck in an awkward period where I don’t know if it’s time to pack up my sweaters and break out the shorts just yet, because you never know what tomorrow’s weather will bring… anyone else know this struggle? Ah yes, it’s the awkward “season” in between winter and spring – the not ready for your swimsuit time, but also sweating in your parka.
So how exactly do we tackle “pre-spring”/“post-winter”? I simply resort to layering. I layer up with a coat or denim jacket, so I can control my wardrobe when I’m on the go if need be. This is a perfect example below! I had a little bit of both seasons – a lightweight sweater and skirt, but threw a coat over my shoulders just in case! Now let’s get on to that spring weather! My sundresses are calling my name!
