This Is 26 : 26 Facts About Me
Yesterday, I turned 26 and for the past three years on my birthday, I’ve shared 25 facts about me (for my 25th), 24 facts about me (for my 24th), 23 facts about me (for my 23rd). See a theme here? So without further ado, here are 26 brand new facts you may not have known about me!
- My middle name is Byrne after my grandmother’s maiden name.
- I used to be a morning person through and through but I’m becoming more of a night owl.
- I hate hot weather and always look forward to fall.
- I had never tried sushi until I moved to New York in 2016… and I’m still not a fan.
- I’m currently trying to learn sign language.
- I can count to 20 in German and have always wanted to learn more of the language.
- I’m a Virgo which is very accurate.
- I’m an aunt to my two-year-old nephew.
- My first job out of college was at Saks Fifth Avenue’s corporate office. I was a Sample Assistant for saks.com’s photo studio and worked in the Children’s department.
- I love crushed ice.
- I hate tomatoes.
- I have a Great Dane obsession and hope to be able to have two pups one day.
- This will be my 7th year as a vegetarian.
- I love wearing fun and pretty dresses (like this one pictured!) but I could honestly live in pajamas for the rest of my life and have no problem with that at all.
- I work full time at a full-service digital marketing, public relations, social media, and creative agency called bread & Butter as a Social Media Manager.
- I really don’t enjoy reading and don’t remember the last time I picked up a book. (I’m sorry book lovers!)
- I have never had to get stitches.
- I still have my tonsils.
- I went to my 11th Jonas Brothers concert last year.
- I love making balloon arches, walls, garlands… you name it, as you can see in these pictures! I watched a few YouTube videos to learn how and now I try to implement them in as many shoots as I can. (I recycle all the used balloons through a company called TerraCycle.)
- I geek out over things I really love, like tv shows and movies, and almost always become a super loyal fan.
- Getting in the ocean honestly terrifies me and I live 3 miles from the beach.
- I’m a very sentimental person and hold on to almost all objects that have any small sort of meaning.
- I love going to the movies, unless it’s to see a scary movie.
- I’m really tall. 5’11” to be exact.
- I’ve had this blog for about 3 years and to this day I still hate writing.

OMG your dress is a dream! Happiest of birthdays! I have no idea you were so tall – I’m 4’11” lol!! I also took ASL in college, hate hot weather and sushi and hold to things for sentimental reasons 🙂
