This is 24

Goodness gracious where has the time gone?! I can’t believe I celebrated my 24th birthday just a few days ago! I love how my birthday always falls on Labor Day Weekend because it gives me a reason to celebrate for even longer and it’s always the start of the college football season! A win-win! I had a blast celebrating with my family and friends last Friday and then Saturday (my actual birthday) was all about tailgating and Alabama football. The perfect weekend – I can’t complain!

For last year’s birthday, I compiled a list of 23 facts about me. So I decided to challenge myself and write 24 completely different facts about me. Maybe I’ll do this every year until I run out of facts (that will happen pretty quickly). Without further ado, here are 24 facts about me!

1. I started sewing when I was in middle school, but don’t do it much now (unless it’s sewing a button back on a dress! I oddly enough love doing it!).
2. I am an ENFJ. This was recently brought up at dinner so I indulged. Take the personality test here!
3. I have been a vegetarian for 6 years.
4. I studied abroad my senior year of college and visited London, Paris, and Milan.
5. My dream vacation (currently) is to visit South Africa.
6. I’ve only dyed my hair twice and I haven’t gotten a haircut in more than a year. (long hair don’t care?)
7. I work at a social media firm here in Charleston.
8. I loooooove Stranger Things.
9. I was a competitive cheerleader for 9 years but was never any good.
10. I’m fairly organized.
11. I don’t like chocolate as much as you do.
12. My phone screen background has stayed the same for almost a year now (It’s this picture of Nick Saban. I changed it to this right after Alabama won the National Championship).
13. I used to hate politics but I’ve become much more informed this year.
14. I have a scar on my right elbow from a surgery I had in 2005. I was in a cast and had to write with my opposite hand for months.
15. I took Latin in high school and Italian in college and I don’t remember any of it.
16. I live 3 miles from the beach, but hate going to the beach.
17. It doesn’t take much to make me tear up a little. Cheesy movies, songs, etc. really have a hold on me.
18. I don’t have any tattoos.
19. One day I’d like to open an online store for home decor and random knick-knacks.
20.  I’m team Apple.
21. My middle name is Byrne, after my grandmother’s maiden name. Byrne is a very common surname in Ireland.
22. Speaking of Ireland, my very first beer was a Guinness at the Guinness Brewery in Dublin.
23. I pretty much will only paint my nails black.
24. I sang Reflection from the Mulan soundtrack for my kindergarten talent show. I didn’t know the words so I repeated the chorus for the entire song. (I need to share this home video with y’all!)
