Perfect Pastels - hillheady

Charleston is dressed for the holiday in pastel colors and beautiful flowers, so I decided to play along. My mom is currently preparing our Easter brunch for tomorrow and I am looking forward to indulging in some annual carrot cake!

I have been living in Charleston for about 7 months now and my closet continues to gain more and more pastel pieces. The colorful buildings here inspire my color palette to be brighter and happier everyday! I love how pastels can be worn anytime, anywhere – your look can be casual or dressy, but the light and airy color definitely adds a feminine touch to your style. In my opinion, a nice ballet slipper pink or sunny yellow will never go out of style, so it’s never a bad idea to stock up in these colors. No matter the season, pastels are always perfect!
