Our Trip to Universal Orlando!

11/05/2018

I’m so excited to finally share the details of my most recent trip! A few weeks ago, my bestie Kelsey and I had the amazing opportunity to work with Universal’s Aventura Hotel in Orlando, Florida and had the best time! If you follow along on Instagram, you got a sneak peek of how fun our trip was! The newest addition to the Loews Hotels collection, Universal’s Aventura Hotel, is modern and sleek with breathtaking views of the parks. Not only does it offer many great amenities like a virtual reality game room, rooftop bar, and Starbucks right in the lobby, but there are also great perks for choosing Aventura. There are frequent free shuttles to and from the parks (total lifesaver!) and also early park admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Universal’s Volcano Bay. The hotel is on-site at Universal and is just walking distance from Universal’s Volcano Bay.

On our first day, we checked in and explored the hotel, then made our way to Universal CityWalk for Voodoo Doughnuts! We were able to catch a few rides at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter before they closed and grabbed dinner at Bread Box on the CityWalk. It rained a bit our first day, but we took advantage of the parks while we could!

We then returned to the parks before heading back to Charleston to explore the Wizarding World of Harry Potter a bit more (our favorite part!), grab breakfast at The Leaky Cauldron, and ride the Hogwarts Express! We had Park-to-Park passed which allowed us to bounce to and from each park with the Hogwarts Express – something I recommend! Another recommendation? Definitely invest in Universal Express Passes. We were able to basically skip the line at every ride! It was a total game changer as we were able to see more than we would if we had been waiting in lines all day.

While we were pretty exhausted once we got home, we had such a great time! It was a fun little girls getaway making memories and laughing so much! Can’t wait to go back soon!!

We were gifted a stay at Universal’s Aventura Hotel and park passes in exchange for a review. All views and opinions are my own!

In all my trips to Orlando I’ve never been to Universal because there’s so much to do at Disney! I do want to venture that way on a future trip to Orlando because I’ve heard Universal has amazing roller coasters!
