November 2019 Recap
Here’s a little November recap! Sharing what I did, where I went, and a few favorites here and there.
HIGHLIGHTS
The whole family was in town to celebrate Thanksgiving! We all had full bellies and continued our Thanksgiving tradition by visiting the Festival of Lights! It was my nephew, Calsen’s, first visit and he definitely loved it! He also learned how to say the word “taco” (FYI he is turning 2 next year haha)! We’re clearly teaching him the most important words right off the bat. It was definitely a highlight for the family!
WHERE I WENT
Orlando, Florida: My mom and I took a quick road trip to Orlando for the Jonas Brothers concert! Neither of us realized our hotel was going to be right next to Universal. So we did something very out of character and made a spur of the moment trip to Universal! We had such a great time! It was mom’s first visit so we were acting like total tourists.
Jacksonville, Florida: And after our day in Orlando, we drove over to Jacksonville for the night for the Jonas Brothers show there! Yep, two nights in a row. I love those boys!
WHAT I BOUGHT
The last couple of days have been this girl’s dream. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, holiday shopping – it truly is the most wonderful time of the year. Needless to say, I did a good bit of shopping this month. From Christmas decorations to new fall clothes, check it all out below!
WHAT I WATCHED
The Report: This movie seriously had me on the edge of my seat the entire time and Adam Driver killed it! Unfortunately, I was not as interested in politics during the time of this, so the movie was definitely eye-opening. It’s a must-watch so add it to your list immediately!
WHAT I’M LISTENING TO

EXPLORING CHARLESTON
Pink Cactus: This spot has been on my list for a while now and I finally got to try it out with the Tastemakers crew! I’m still thinking about their cauliflower taco and cheese enchiladas. I was in heaven! I totally recommend giving Pink Cactus a try!
