I have a lovely large blank wall in my living room that has just been screaming for a gallery wall! I’ve always pinned so much gallery wall inspo on Pinterest and really loved the look of simple gold frames with a small square photo. Frame It Easy made my dream a reality! I told them what I had in mind and we were able to come up with this final design that I am in love with!! Below is exactly what was ordered to create this gallery.
This week, my parents and I worked together to hang the whole gallery. Our first step, of course, was assembling the frames. You can tell the quality of these frames are amazing which was really important to me! The gold is beautiful and really makes a statement. While we were putting the photos in the frames, we also cut out cardboard in the shape of the frames to plan out how we wanted to hang it. I definitely recommend doing this whether it’s with cardboard or newspaper that you can tape on the wall. Now it was time to hang! The first row is for sure the hardest as you’re trying to getting it all even in a straight line. Thankfully, Frame It Easy sends everything you need for this process. Once we got the first row hung, it was smooth sailing! We measured up from each hook to create the second and third rows – each frame was about 12 inches tall and wide and I knew I wanted 3 inches in between each frame. So we measured up 15 inches and that’s where each nail went.
I’m so happy with the way the final product turned out! Again, it’s exactly what I had imagined and I love how much of a statement it makes when you walk in the room. Would love to hear what you think of it and let me know if you have any questions below!
