2018 has come and gone, but my splurges live on! I don’t think I need to tell you that I did my fair share of shopping last year. However, I really tried to invest in some great pieces to last me forever. As I try to change my buying habits for 2019 (aka investing in quality as opposed to quantity), I’m reminding myself about the great pieces I purchased and why they were used time and time again. Read about my favorites below that are all still available and need to be in your home!
– Any and all Lele Sadoughi headbands: 2018 was the year of the headband for me. I found my new obsession! I’ve purchased many headbands from different brands, but the Lele Sadoughi headbands are my favorite. As someone who suffers from migraines, they are comfy and don’t cause headaches. A huge perk!
– West Elm Dinner Plates: I have been preparing to move out of my parent’s house so I invested in a new set of plates from West Elm. I love the clean, sleek style and you can tell they are great quality.
– Tory Burch Clara Mule: Surprisingly, this was my first pair of Tory Burch shoes! I am not the biggest fan of pointy-toed shoes, but I love these! They are so comfy that I ended up buying them in black and tried out another pair that impressed, as well. I honestly was shocked with the quality and they are adorable!
– Old Navy Shirt Dress: Old Navy is one of my favorite places to shop for casual clothing. This dress was on repeat all summer because it is very comfy and a great lightweight fabric for those long humid days in Charleston. Plus, it’s currently under $30!
– Mario Badescu Products: I have been raving about these products all over my blog. I don’t use many beauty products, but I do use Mario Badescu’s Whitening Mask, Drying Lotion, and Drying Cream in my weekly routine. I have definitely seen a difference since I started using these.
– A longer phone charger: Does it make me lazy having this on the list?! This was a great purchase this year for all the traveling I’ve been doing. Plugs aren’t always in the most convenient spots, which makes this item super useful!

Ok, that headband is super cute and looks great on you!! I’d love to wear headbands more but I always feel like my head is too small or they start to hurt after a while.

Thanks so much, Laura! I used to think that too, but once I found the right brand (aka Lele Sadoughi) I stocked up in theirs!

I love that not all your best purchases were your splurges, and I’m all for having the longer phone cord, even though apparently they take longer to charge your phone.
