Here’s a little January recap! Sharing what I did, where I went, and a few favorites here and there.
HIGHLIGHTS
January was busy as usual, with trips and events! However, my favorite highlight of the month was seeing my nephew walk for the first time! Hard to believe he is already going to be one at the end of February! Spending time with him is the best!
WHERE I WENT
Raleigh, North Carolina: Mimi and I had been trying to go to Raleigh to visit our friends and we finally made it happen! I listed a few things we did during our trip here.
Meadows of Dan, Virginia: Kelsey and I stayed at the gorgeous Primland in the Blue Ridge Mountains and didn’t want to leave! Read my full travel guide here!
WHAT I BOUGHT
As I prepared for my new apartment, I splurged and purchased the most beautiful chairs that were on sale! I’ve been eyeing these for the longest time and was so excited when they went on sale. I still did a payment plan – which I love utilizing now. Sometimes I’ll have the money, but dropping it all in one sitting is always so hard for me! Which is why doing payments over a short time is super helpful! I also started using Rent The Runway Unlimited this month, so I didn’t do as much miscellaneous shopping!
WHAT I WATCHED
The Fyre Festival documentaries: To be honest, I couldn’t stop talking about these documentaries all month long. We watched both the Netflix and Hulu movies back to back, but the Netflix version was our favorite! 10/10 definitely recommend you watch it now if you haven’t already!
EXPLORING CHARLESTON
The Inns: Myself and a few other Charleston bloggers had a fun slumber party at the beautiful Inns! If you’re planning a trip to Charleston, definitely check out these beautiful rentals! They are perfectly decorated and just a skip away from King Street.
Semilla: This place has been on my list since their location opened because of it’s amazing pink decor. My friend Mimi went and saw they had whipped queso, so she knew she had to take me! Yes, the queso was amazing, but the brussel sprouts tacos were so so so good y’all!
Follow along on my food account as I eat my way through Charleston!
