Welcome to my little shoebox!! In May, I moved to Brooklyn and was so excited to decorate my very first big girl apartment! Slowly but surely, everything has come together and it finally feels like home. (I’m currently sitting on my couch in my PJs while watching Me Before You with a bag of popcorn, so I’d say this is home!)
I wanted to surround my apartment with bright colors to expand the space – I’ve found that dark colors can magnify the small space, as opposed to open it up. I love decorating with plants, especially succulents. They are incredibly low maintenance and perfect for someone like me who may forget to water them every now and then! I continued the green theme with a palm tree print and added blue and orange accents with ginger jars and coffee table books. And of course, a big comfy cozy blanket from Soft Surroundings to tie everything together! (Seriously this is the best blanket EVER!)
