For Kelsey and I’s last trip of the year, we road tripped to Hilton Head Island for a fun filled weekend! This is another place I hadn’t been to yet and had the best time! I loved being on the water and taking part in some outdoor activities. This is definitely a place I would put on your summer checklist. Check out our complete itinerary below!
WHERE WE STAYED
Sonesta Resort: We totally fell in love with the Sonesta!! The staff was so incredibly accommodating and kind. Every now and then, we received a text from the team ensuring our stay was going well! Our favorite part, however, was the personalized towels in our bathroom with our initials! Such a nice touch! (I actually squealed when I saw them!) The hotel also has a large pool with adorable day beds, beach access, and a spa on-site. A little slice of paradise only a couple hours from Charleston!

WHERE WE ATE
Heyward’s: We not only had dinner here our first night but also breakfast every morning. All of the meals were great! Be sure to order the French Toast – my favorite!
Skull Creek Dockside: This was definitely one of my favorites of the bunch. We had the best seat in the house right by the dock. I had an amazing beet and goat cheese hummus appetizer that I’m still drooling over.
Skull Creek Boathouse: A perfect lunch spot! I loved watching the boats go by on the water and sitting in the sun on the patio. This is Skull Creek Dockside’s sister restaurant – both places lived up to the hype and did not disappoint.
Hudson’s: We had heard Hudson’s was a favorite among the locals! If you go here, make sure to try the hushpuppies – they were amazing!
Fishcamp: Our last meal was at Fishcamp. With a beautiful view of the water, it was so relaxing and the perfect way to end the trip.
Salty Dog Cafe: We specifically stopped here for ice cream! While their ice cream shop was unfortunately closed for the season, we still were able to grab a cone and sit by the bonfire! This little boardwalk where Salty Dog is located is so adorable and worth a trip.
WHAT WE DID
Catamaran Tour: If you do anything during your trip to Hilton Head, do this tour with BlueWater Adventure at Shelter Cove Marina!! I couldn’t believe how much fun we had during our 3-hour tour. We saw so many dolphins and our tour guide, Nick, was so knowledgeable about the island and wildlife.
Dolphin Tour: Another great tour at Shelter Cove Marina! I learned so much about the water and the island while also seeing a few dolphins!
Bike Rentals: This was one of the main things we had to do during our trip. We had a half day rental from Hilton Head Outfitters at Palmetto Dunes and biked all throughout Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove Harbour and Marina.

Harbour Town Pier: AKA where the lighthouse is! We took a stroll around the boardwalk and enjoyed the beautiful weather!
We were gifted a weekend stay at Sonesta Resort and meals in exchange for a review. All views and opinions are my own!
Bookmarking this! I totally want to go to Hilton Head!
