What does it take to truly be a “girl boss”? Since becoming an adult last May (aka graduating) I’ve asked myself this question everyday. While I am far from being a serious and reputable girl boss, I have read Sophia Amoruso’s book and binge watched the Netflix series (10/10 would recommend) and was very inspired to work toward my new goal (expanding on my last post about May goals), a.k.a. “girl boss status”. I don’t fully know what it takes to be considered a girl boss, but I am in love with the idea of becoming a confident working woman who is driven to make an impact in the world.
And why not first start with a power outfit! Loving this modern take on the classic blazer. Yellow is my favorite color and as soon as I saw this I knew it needed to be part of my closet! I’ve also been dreaming of these Gucci shoes since they first hit Saks and I finally took the plunge last month (needless to say, I do not regret this purchase).
As always, I’m teaming up with my favorite handbag company, Imoshion! These bags are amazing and I fall more in love with each new bag! P.S. So much appreciation for this brand and their use of vegan leather!
I was so excited to get this necklace in my April Rocksbox! I’m not usually a necklace kind of gal, but it was perfect for this outfit! While still subtle, I’m pushing myself to mix metals more often! (silver necklace + gold bag/shoe accents) One step at a time!
