February Recap

Here’s a little February recap! Sharing what I did, where I went, and a few favorites here and there.

HIGHLIGHTS

February was such a busy month filled with so many exciting changes and events! First and foremost, I moved into my new place!! If you didn’t know, ever since I moved to Charleston in late 2017, I had been living at home with my gracious parents trying to save money. I finally found the perfect place and said see ya later mom and dad! I’m working on a huge tour of my place so stay tuned!

We celebrated my nephew, Calsen’s, first birthday!! A year ago on February 28th, my sister and her husband adopted my nephew and he has been such a light in our lives! Can’t believe it has already been a year!

I went on my very first international trip for blogging! Traveling has always been a huge part of my life and I feel so lucky to now be able to do it for my job! Keep reading to find out where I went!

WHERE I WENT

Augusta, Georgia: My mom and I went on a quick road trip to Augusta! This little town is definitely one you should add to your list. Check out my travel guide here to find out why.

The Bahamas: Right after our overnight stay in Augusta, my mom and I boarded a Carnival cruise to the Bahamas and boy did we have fun! I can’t wait to share my complete review of our 5-day trip, so stay tuned!

Hotel Bella Grace: After a crazy week of work, I enjoyed the perfect staycation at Hotel Bella Grace, a gorgeous boutique hotel in the perfect location downtown. I’ll be sharing photos of my stay soon!

WHAT I BOUGHT

All of you home decor lovers, this month is dedicated to you! Like I said, I moved into my new place this month so a good portion of my purchases were for my new place. It’s finally coming together and is feeling more and more like home!

WHAT I WATCHED

Grownish: I totally binge watched this one and finished the two seasons in under three days! It’s so cute and just the kind of tv I like!

Jack Ryan: So I’m stepping a little out of my comfort zone here on this one, but I had heard so many great things I had to try it out! I’m not sure if I’m hooked on it yet, but I’m still watching!

EXPLORING CHARLESTON

Poogan’s Porch: For Galentine’s Day, my best blogger gals and I brunched at Poogan’s Porch! I had heard so much about the restaurant, but it was only my first visit! Check out my full recap here.

Hotel Bennett: A few bloggers and I got the chance to tour the brand new and much anticipated, Hotel Bennett! Let me just say, it was beautiful and that’s an understatement! Definitely add this to your list if you are visiting Charleston!
