Color Crush: 15 Yellow Pieces You Need in Your Closet
With spring on the horizon, my closet is getting brighter and brighter and it makes me so happy! While my color palette is almost exclusively full of bright and colorful clothing, I’ve noticed that there has been an overwhelming amount of yellow at the moment, which is a bit shocking, because I wouldn’t necessarily call it a favorite color of mine. But I feel like I’ve been drawn to yellow more recently because wearing the color makes for an instant mood booster. Whether it’s a dreary, rainy day in Charleston or a long day in the office, it’s hard to be in a bad mood when your outfit is so cheery.
Plus, yellow is a color that everyone can wear. A bold statement, I know. You just have to be sure to pick the right shade for your skin tone. If you are on the paler side like me, dark yellows will compliment your skin tone the best. If you have a medium to olive skin tone, bright and vibrant yellows will make you glow. Darker skin tones, soft and mellow shades are especially beautiful on you.
