Color Crush: 15 Light Blue Pieces You Need in Your Closet

Yes, summer is the best time to break out all those bright and bold pieces, but I’m taking a step back and going a little more neutral with this week’s color crush… light blue. I think I love this color so much for summer because naturally all of the items in this hue are lightweight and perfect for those long and insanely hot days. From eyelet dresses to strappy heels, light blue is the perfect way to dive into your color wheel without completely diving head first.

Light blues pair so perfectly with darker shades of blue and even light pink for an all out pastel look – never underestimate how powerful pastels can be, especially with an all monochrome look that will definitely make a statement. This color is very airy and carefree which brings me back to my earlier point about the pieces being so great for summer. We all know the darker the color you wear, the hotter you’ll be outside. So I’m trying to stick to softer colors like light blue to get me through these toasty months.
