In the fall, I always look forward to Saturday. The gang all gets together in our jerseys and crimson and white t-shirts and we cheer on our favorite team, the Alabama Crimson Tide. My favorite person to watch the game with is my dad! (making his blog debut!) He is the biggest Alabama fan I know and knows all of the players and the team’s stats. He is the reason my love of football is so strong and taught me all about the game!
I barely have any red in my closet. However, when I saw this fabulous, detailed coat from Free People, I had to indulge! The gold buttons and bright red color instantly drew me in. I have always been a bit afraid of the color (I guess not wanting to look “too nautical” or “too Christmas-esque”??), but after this purchase, I realized red surprisingly goes with many colors without looking like an absolute walking holiday – red and pink, red and yellow, and of course a classic look of red and black.
