We have all relied on the cocktail dress since the beginning of time, myself included. But it’s time to say hello to our other reliable friend – the one who has always been there, but maybe has been pushed to the back of the closet one too many times. Just like the cocktail dress, the party pant can be dressed up, or dressed down, it can be bold and vibrant, or it can be understated when paired with a sequin top. VIEW THIS POST
Trending Tuesday: Faux Fur Stoles
During the fall/winter season, my go to scarf is always actually a faux fur stole. I love accessorizing with these and they always make a look extra chic without a super expensive price tag (my favorite). In fact, all of these stoles below are under $100!! VIEW THIS POST
Last Call for Light Layers
Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday – getting the gang together, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, holiday football, and of course, the iconic loosening of the belt loop after a large serving of mashed potatoes (all side dishes for this vegetarian). Fall Necessity
It’s no secret that I basically live in my jean jacket – just take a look through my recent pictures on my Instagram feed. I wear mine any chance I can, whether it’s summer or winter. You’ve probably had yours in your closet for a while now and you’re sitting here thinking, “ok Hillary, you’re a little late to the party”, but this season they are changing, as they do every season. Trending Tuesday: Statement Earrings
One of my absolute favorite trends for any season, any time of the year, is to rock a perfect pair of statement earrings! This is by far, in my opinion, also the easiest trend to pull off. Say you’re having a lazy day and you just want to wear a white T-shirt and jeans… you can quickly put on a fun colored tassel earring and instantly have an entirely different look! VIEW THIS POST
White After Labor Day
This fall season, we’re breaking all of the rules – starting with white after Labor Day. The “all black look” has never been my forte, and it’s my opinion that this “fashion rule” is old and tired. There are many different theories of how this archaic rule originated and I can’t seem to agree with any of them enough to cut this entirely out of my color wheel for now. VIEW THIS POST
