Apps I Use For My Blog
With my blog and a job in social media, I’m sure you can imagine I spend a lot of time on my phone. I’ve been very busy this year and my motto has been work smarter not harder. There is an app for everything and I would not be able to do my job without these below.
- Canva: Canva has definitely been my favorite discovery through blogging. It is the easiest graphic design app/website that makes all of your designs look professional and pretty. Plus it’s free! Canva is how I make graphics like this and this.
- Tezza App: Prior to using this app, I was using Afterlight, but I didn’t really feel like I was getting the most out of a photo editing app. I now use the Tezza App to edit all of the photos that I post on my Instagram Stories and I 10/10 would recommend it!
- LIKEtoKNOW.it: I’m sure many of you have heard of LIKEtoKNOW.it but if you haven’t, it’s an app where you can shop thousands of closets and people’s exact outfits! If you’re not sure how to use the app, I recently wrote a blog post about how to shop my looks. Check it out here!
- Kira Kira: This is a fun one that I love using for my Instagram Stories. Sometimes an iPhone truly doesn’t capture the beauty of something sparkly, so Kira Kira gives the photo or video a little extra sparkle.
- Plann: Plann is a major lifesaver. Through the app, I schedule out the week, sometimes even the month, and receive a notification whenever it’s time to post.
- Notes: I know this seems a bit random, but my mind is always racing and Notes is where I jot down all of my ideas so I won’t forget. I also have a note for all of the blog topics I’d like to write that I reference pretty much every week.
- Starbucks: Just kidding, but also not kidding. Working two jobs can be tough work and sometimes I just need a little pick me up! Starbucks always saves the day!

These are great! My favorite is that Starbucks addition. Girl, you know we need our coffee fix!

I have been using Planoly but just discovered Plann and plan (ha!) on making the switch to that! so many useful tools!
I’ve never heard of Plann but must check it out! Canva is my FAV!
I definitely need to try and learn how to use Canva! I’ve heard its 10x easier than photoshop.

Swap Plann for Planoly and remove Kira Kira, and you’ve got most of my list too! I don’t use Kira Kira because there are sparkly story filters now on Insta hehe. But I used it religiously until then! You’ve got some great suggestions on here. I giggled at the Starbucks addition.

This is a great list of apps, and I use most of them. Plann is the most helpful to see how images are going to look with the rest of the feed, especially if you’re OCD and attentive to detail like we are!
