All of the Recipes I’ve Tried During Quarantine
Let me start off by saying, I think this is the most I’ve cooked in the last couple of months ever. I’ve never been a good cook, but I took this time as an opportunity to try some new things and I was pretty impressed with myself! I’ve found some new and easy recipes (all listed below) that will definitely be some of my go-to’s in the future. I’ll continue to build on this list, as we’re still trying our best to stay home and social distance. Have any recipes I should try out? Share them in the comments below!
Deliciously Easy French Toast Casserole
The name of this recipe ain’t lying. My friend, Laura, suggested I try this recipe and it might be my new favorite! It was one of the first I tried during quarantine and it’s a great one for if you’re like me and not necessarily a great cook. It’s so easy and doesn’t take a lot of ingredients. 10/10 would recommend!
Blueberry Pie
So I’ve always had an obsession with pretty pies even though I don’t totally love making them myself. However, this one was pretty easy when we’re talking about the ingredients. I documented the whole process in a recent IGTV here!
Healthy Banana Blueberry Muffins
This is by far my new favorite recipe! I’ve been making this one non-stop almost every week for my breakfast. They are great to have on hand for a quick snack, too!
Baked Oatmeal Trailside Treat Bars
I wasn’t entirely in love with this recipe when I first tried it. It was also a lot harder to make than the rest of them. However, I continued having it for breakfast here and there and I think it got better as the days went on. I may try this one again just to make sure it’s not a complete winner.
My Favorite Pasta Salad
My friend, Natalie, shared this recipe on her blog and decided to make it for Memorial Day. It was the perfect addition to our weekend cookout! I opted to make it vegetarian and didn’t add pepperoni. Will definitely make this one again!
