A Piece I Bought but Never Wore

Anyone else buy something thinking it’s going to be the perfect new addition to your closet and then find that it’s hanging gathering dust day after day? (I know my mother is cringing reading this!) That’s what happened to this little pink denim jacket. I purchased it from ASOS last year thinking, “that’s exactly what I need! A pink denim jacket!” and in the time I purchased it to now, I think I’ve only worn it once.

So when I received this darling number from Julie Brown, I knew my arm insecurities could get in the way of wearing it. As I was running out to take photos, I peeked into my closet to see the pink denim jacket almost begging to be worn. I grabbed it and to my surprise, was so excited with how it all looked! When I first posted a photo from this outfit to Instagram, I received so many compliments on this jacket – a reminder to revisit a few pieces in my closet that may have been neglected throughout the years! What’s something you never wear but still hold on to it? I can’t seem to part with so many items I own!
