My Top 5 Favorite Face Masks
Am I the only one who loves adding an extra accessory to my outfit with these face masks? (While simultaneously and selflessly protecting friends, family, and strangers alike!) I think it’s because I’ve tried to make the most of our current situation by snagging some cute masks that I can have fun with and match with each of my outfits. After all, this is our reality and they take up quite a bit of real estate on your face. With a cute and stylish mask, you can at least feel a little joy through the now infamous sweat mustache while doing your part to protect those around you!
I often get asked where my masks are from, so without further ado, here are my top 5 face masks that I would recommend to anyone. All 5 of these have been tested and are hillheady approved. They are all comfortable, budget-friendly, and I always feel safe and fully covered in each (with my own added filter). Check them out below and all the different occasions I like to wear them for!
First up is my most worn mask from BaubleBar (styled and pictured below). This mask was one of the first ones I purchased and has always been a tried and true one. Full disclaimer: the mask does not come with a pocket for a filter which is the only thing I do not like about it. But I just simply fold up my coffee filter like I normally would and lay it in between my mouth and the mask for that extra added protection.
Looking to make a statement? Mask number 2 is your girl. This super fun pearl-embellished mask is perfect for any holiday get-togethers you are attending – safely, of course, by wearing this mask! I wasn’t sure how realistic this one would be when I bought it, but it’s actually really surprisingly comfortable and I’ve gotten great use out of it.
Making a quick run to the grocery store? Mask up with number 3 and number 5. I would definitely categorize these as my “casual masks”. They are soft and understated but still have a really cute design worth noticing. Pro tip: These two might come a little loose on your face but that can easily be solved by tying a small knot on the ear loops to tighten the fit.
Finally, the mask I’ve received the most compliments on is mask number 4. I’ve been loving all of the embroidered masks out there and this one is just stunning – yes, I just called a face mask stunning. Without fail, I always receive a compliment while out and about and wearing this one. It’s another one that doesn’t come with a filter pocket, but the same for mask number 1, I go ahead and fold in a filter just for an added layer of protection.
Disclaimer: I am not a doctor and cannot confirm whether these masks are CDC certified or not. I definitely recommend doing further research and checking out additional details on each product listing. Please continue to practice social distancing and of course, wear your mask!

I love that you’re finding the cutest masks to pair with your gorgeous outfits. I’ll admit, most of my masks are pretty basic in solid colors. However, I do have three that are striped neutrals to pair with my solid clothing or coordinating prints. It’s fun to make them a real accessory!

these masks are SO CUTE! I have to admit that I like the pretty masks for wearing for short periods of time and to accessorize, but the medical / disposable masks are just more comfortable to me for long periods of time!! Time to find some pretty ones of those 🙂
