HILLOWEEN: Dorothy’s Wizard of Oz Crew Costume
A lion, a scarecrow, and a tin woman walk into a bar… If you’re looking for a super easy costume with your favorite gals, this one is for you! Take your pick from the lion, scarecrow, and tin woman (plus Dorothy if you have a fourth, of course) from Wizard of Oz as they walk down the Yellow Brick Road to find Dorothy.
All of our costumes were really SO easy. First up, the lion. My friend, Katie, wore this cute brown sweater and a faux fur vest for a little extra fluff. She took it a step further with this amazing lion makeup, the lion’s badge of courage, and a red bow in her hair to top it off.
Next up, the scarecrow. I couldn’t get over my friend Megan‘s incredible scarecrow makeup (scroll to see a closeup); she totally exceeded my expectations, especially with this cute scarecrow headband! All she needed for this look were overalls and a plaid top. We then stuffed this straw around her wrists and coming out of her boots – I think this was my favorite part!
Finally, the tin woman. I threw on this sparkly number and a pair of sparkly heels (similar pair here) for a classic tin woman outfit. For final touches, I added a little bit of glitter to my face and found the most perfect heart bag (because, of course, the tin man only wanted a heart!).

To say these costumes are adorable would be a mega understatement – but it’s true! They’re adorable! I love the creativity. Super attainable costumes, too. It’d be easy enough to create any of these, which is awesome.
