Color Crush: 15 Orange Pieces You Need in Your Closet
Let me start off by saying orange is not a common color in my wardrobe for multiple reasons. The main reason? I went to Alabama and whenever I wear orange, my dad never lets me forget that that’s Auburn’s color. However, I like to sprinkle it in every now and then, like with this jumpsuit. (Yet again, another item that is few and far between in my closet.)
Vibrant colors, like orange, are a wonderful way to brighten up your mood, especially during these rather crazy and uncertain times. This bold hue has been everywhere as I do my daily online shopping routine and whether it’s a pastel shade or burnt orange number, orange is definitely having a moment. The color can be a bit scary for me as I fear I could look like straight-up Halloween, but it’s more versatile than you would think.
Orange can be perfectly paired with the kelly greens and bold pinks of the world or as an added accessory like a fruity bag or pair of strappy heels. If your still a little weary, start off small and ever so slightly work the color into your look. I’ve always been grateful that between my fair hair with olive undertones and my dark red hair, I can pull off a plethora of colors. However, orange is definitely *not* one of them haha. I have like… one coral top that I love and that’s about the closest I’ll get. But I do adore the pieces you linked, especially the strappy mule sandals!
