March 2020 Recap

March 2020 Recap

Here’s a little March recap! Sharing where I went, what I bought, and a few favorites here and there.

HIGHLIGHTS

So March was pretty weird right… And it’s only going to get weirder, unfortunately. No surprise at all but there weren’t that many highlights this month considering, ya know, that whole Coronavirus thing. However, prior to the pandemic, I was able to go to the Charleston Wine & Food Festival! This is one of my favorite events every year because hello, wine and food? Need I say more?

WHERE I WENT

Literally nowhere thanks to Coronavirus.

WHAT I BOUGHT

I have been dying to tell y’all about my new shoes because I think every single person should have a pair – that’s how much I love them. I finally took the plunge and purchased these Reebok sneakers from Urban Outfitters I’d been eyeing and I’ve been wearing them on repeat ever since. I even wore them in a few looks during my recent shoot and can’t wait to share the pics. They are so comfy and don’t need to be broken in at all – they fit just like a glove right away.

I also finally purchased an iPhone tripod from Amazon! I’m hoping to do more video content on Instagram so stay tuned for that! It’ll be coming your way soon!

WHAT I WATCHED

The title of this section should really be, “What Didn’t I Watch”. Thanks to our dear friend COVID-19, I’ve had a lot of time to catch up on some new TV and movie releases. Here are the highlights below!

Little Women: So if you’re following me on Instagram, you know just how obsessed I am with Little Women and now it is available for rent/purchase on Amazon Prime! Now, of course, this was not my first time watching the movie, but it just gets better and better every time. Add this to your quarantine watch list if you haven’t seen it already. It truly is a must-watch for everyone!

Tiger King: If you haven’t started this Netflix series, stop everything you’re doing and get to it. For those who have watched, this show is so bizarre, right?! I was quite speechless for most of the series and honestly had to go back and rewatch it because I still can’t believe this all happened. Have you seen it yet? Let me know your thoughts about it all in the comments!

Sex and the City: For the first portion of my quarantine, I restarted Sex and the City from the very beginning and this was my best idea yet. I can’t believe how much has changed! 10/10 would recommend a SATC binge during this time.

Depending on how long this all lasts, I may have to restart Game of Thrones from the very beginning. I’m currently staying with my parents, however, and they aren’t interested in watching the show at all, but I think I can convince them!

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO

I Love Me by Demi Lovato

EXPLORING CHARLESTON

The Macintosh: Well, before this whole lockdown madness happened, I was able to fit in one last dinner with my Tastemakers crew. (Until things get back to normal, of course.) I was so excited about eating at Macintosh because I swear they have some of the best truffle fries. You must order them if you ever go!

You’re still finding good ways to pass the time, which is great. Good movie choice, and music choice too! I hope the next few months bring brighter days.

This is such a good roundup! I also recently watched Tiger King and Little Women. Loved your idea to rewatch Sex and the City. I imagine it must be quaint to revisit that era, you’re so right. Times have drastically changed! Xo
