HILLOWEEN: Star Costume
Did y’all hear the news?! Today is the beginning of HILLOWEEN!! Halloween… Hillary… it seemed almost too perfect when it dawned on me a few weeks ago! I’m not going to lie… Halloween hasn’t always been my favorite holiday. But recently, I’ve really been getting in the Halloween spirit and can’t wait to share all my fun looks and costumes over the next couple of weeks! I’ll be using the hashtag, #HILLOWEEN2019, on each Instagram post so give that a follow to make sure you don’t miss a beat!
First up, I’m sharing my super easy DIY star costume! When I saw this halo, I knew it was the start of a really gorgeous costume. There are so many star hair accessories out there to choose from to help make a statement for this costume.
Next up, the dress. Really any dreamy or sparkly dress will work for this look. This grey number is actually a bridesmaid dress I found on ASOS!
Once you have that chosen, add as many gold and star accessories you can find. I purchased these hair clips to wear for these photos, but to be honest, they were a total fail. We could not figure out how to get them to stay and while you can see them a little bit in these photos, it wasn’t the exact vision I was looking for. However, the set of 6 is only $6 and has great reviews, so it’s worth a purchase to try them out! Go the extra mile by adding some glitter or star stickers to your makeup look!
Stay tuned for some more Hilloween looks! What do you think of the first costume?! Check out all of this year’s Halloween costumes here!

What a seriously gorgeous and clever costume for Halloween. I love how the headpiece was what started the inspiration for the look. So cool!
