5 Things I’m Currently Obsessed With in August

Because I’m always obsessing over something new each month, I’m filling y’all in on 5 of my current obsessions that I can’t stop thinking about at the end of every month! So here is August! This round up includes my new favorite tv show, my new favorite snack,(I’ve moved on from last month’s chocolate hummus!) and more! 1. Virgo Season

That’s right kids. It’s virgo season. Of course, I’m always excited for my birthday! But for some reason this year, as soon as virgo season began (which was just a few days ago), hilarious virgo memes were floating all around the internet like this one and this one and it made me so proud to be a virgo, which let’s admit… this is so something a virgo would say. So here’s to all my favorite virgos – Beyonce, Zendaya, Lili Reinhart, and of course, Nick Jonas.

2. Unique color combos

As we approach fall, I’ve been trying to experiment more with different color combos. Like this one for example. At first, I was a little worried people would instantly think of Christmas when they saw green and red, but when I received the photos back from my photographer, I didn’t think that at all! What are some of your favorite unique color combos I should try out? Color Me Courtney is the queen of mixing color. I am always so inspired by her fun and bright looks!

3. The Real Real

As my birthday approaches, I’ve been on the hunt for a second hand item from The Real Real that I can treat myself to! And y’all… they have the best inventory!! I purchased this pair of Miu Miu shoes a few months ago and my first Louis Vuitton bag last year, both at amazing prices! If you are interested in designer goods but not the designer price tag, I definitely recommend you look into The Real Real!

4. Boom Chicka Pop

I’m sure you’re thinking, “ok Hillary, where have you been?!” I’ve always like Boom Chicka Pop’s popcorn, but it wasn’t until I purchased the microwavable bags that I fell in love! I’ve been eating it nonstop. Butter popcorn and sweet kettle corn have my heart!

5. The Righteous Gemstones

Have y’all started watching The Righteous Gemstones on HBO yet?! It just came out on the 17th and the first episode was already super hilarious! Fun fact: It was filmed right here in Charleston! It’s been fun seeing all of the recognizable spots around town on the show! I can’t wait to see where they film at in the upcoming episodes!
