The Best Coffee Table Books for Fashion Lovers
If there’s one thing you need in your place, it’s a great collection of coffee table books. Many of mine are apartment staples because I always pick the prettiest and most colorful ones, regardless of the topic! Most of which, I won’t lie, I have not made it through the entire book – I mostly love them for the decorative aspect. But there are a few that have won a top spot on my list of favorites. Since your coffee table is the center of attention, it deserves the best, so if you have a passion for fashion, this list is for you!
- The Little Dictionary of Fashion: One of my favorite things to receive as a gift is a coffee table book and this was a perfect choice! My good friend bought this for me and it has a beautiful collection of drawings and photographs.
- Where’s Karl?: This is definitely the most fun of the bunch! Where’s Karl? is a take on Where’s Waldo? but instead, you’re searching for Karl Lagerfeld! I love having this for guests to look through. It’s a crowd favorite at a great price!
- Art of the Scarf: A cute but also “educational” book! This one takes you through all and I mean all of the different ways you can wear a scarf. A perfect way to change up your wardrobe!
- Yves Saint Laurent: The Scandal Collection: I love this chic book! I bought it in Paris while studying abroad and knew I needed it as soon as I saw the cover. The book takes a look at one of Yves Saint Laurent’s most famous and controversial collections.
- Paris: Through a Fashion Eye: This is the most recent addition to my collection! I also received this one as a gift and I browsed through almost the whole book right after I got it – that’s how much I love it! The sketches are so pretty and it features all of my favorite designers.
- Vogue: The Covers: This one is probably the one I’ve had the longest. There’s nothing more fashionable than the Vogue covers. This one takes you on a trip down memory lane and all of the classic covers.
- Grace: Thirty Years of Fashion at Vogue: My copy of this one is particularly special! While I was interning in New York my senior year of college, I went to Grace Coddington’s book signing and got a signed copy and was able to meet Grace herself! It was such an honor to meet such a fashion legend!

That’s a great collection. I used to buy a lot of coffee table books and then I started to prefer nothing on my tables. 🙂

So far, I don’t own any of these! But I have several of them on my wishlist. I don’t really keep coffee table books like these on my actual coffee table, since my husband would be like “what the heck are those?” Haha! But I do keep them in my cloffice. I have the Kate Spade “All In Good Taste” book, along with several of Lauren Conrad’s books, and Tezza’s book! I gotta add some of these to my ever-growing collection!
