WHERE I WENT
Charlotte: I was so excited to visit Charlotte for my first time ever! While we didn’t have the best weather, Kelsey and I did have the best time exploring and seeing a new city. Read my full travel guide here.
Georgetown: Georgetown was another town that neither of us had been to! The highlight of this trip was definitely the gorgeous bed and breakfast we stayed at! The small, quaint town is so cute and worth the hour drive. Stay tuned for this travel guide coming soon.
WHAT I BOUGHT
July was an exciting month for shopping! As I’m sure many of you know, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale was in full swing and I may or may not have indulged. Let’s be real, of course, I did! I purchased this dress, this cardigan, and this pair of shoes. I’m more than pleased with all of my new items! And good news, there’s still time to shop the sale! Click here for access.
EXPLORING CHARLESTON
Charleston Heritage Passport: One of the best parts of the month involved exploring Charleston with my mom and sister using the Charleston Heritage Passport. After living in Charleston for almost a year, there are still so many places I haven’t seen or drive by every day not knowing of its historical significance. Through the passport, we visited the house George Washington stayed in during his Charleston trip, the beautiful Gibbes museum, and so many more cultural sites! We were able to knock out almost all of the sites (we’re coming for you soon Charleston Museum!!) and made a day of it by grabbing lunch and spending quality time together in between! If you are visiting Charleston or if you are a local and want to play tourist, I definitely recommend purchasing one of these.
BKeDSHoP: My new guilty pleasure is BKeD. I had one of their donuts a while ago and fell in love, but the food truck opened their first brick-and-mortar store and I couldn’t wait to visit! Put this on your list ASAP because they do not disappoint! See what I got during my coffee date with Meg of Borrowed Heaven here.
Follow along on my food account as I eat my way through Charleston!
