June Recap

Here’s a little June recap! Sharing what I did, where I went, and a few favorites here and there.

Is it just me or did June go by in the blink of an eye? (I’m pretty sure I say this every month!) This is the first of my new series recapping the previous month! My intention is to give you a deeper look into my personal life, while also adding a few items I purchased throughout the month and what I’m currently loving.

June was a busy one full of fun events and I’m excited to share with y’all a very important one that happened! Now time to tackle July! Keep scrolling for a special giveaway with some amazing fellow bloggers!

HIGHLIGHTS

June was a big month for my family! Earlier this year, my sister and her husband adopted their son, Calsen, and it finally became officially official a few weeks ago! Our family attended the adoption hearing and celebrated our “official” new addition afterward! (P.S. Look at that little chunky baby!!)

Towards the end of the month, one of my best gal pals Mimi of The Tiny Tassel and I took a road trip to Atlanta for our event at Swoozie’s. I loved showing Mimi around my hometown and exploring the city that has changed so much since I left! One of the highlights of the trip was definitely seeing the new Ponce City Market.

WHAT I BOUGHT

As you can tell, I’m in love with scarves right now and these were some great new additions! However, these camo shorts were my favorite purchase of the month! They are the comfiest bottoms to lounge around in and so soft. Everyone needs a pair.

If you’re looking to invest in some new beauty products, check out Mario Badescu. I purchased this Whitening Mask and I am so impressed with the results already! I was struggling with some red spots on my face and with one use I saw a difference. I also use the Drying Lotion and Drying Cream for quick acne removal.

EXPLORING CHARLESTON

Saltwater Cowboys: This is my new favorite restaurant! The view is absolutely beautiful and such a fun atmosphere. I went twice this month – first with fellow bloggers Alex and Kelsey and the next time with my mom where we sat right by the water! I recommend waiting for a seat by the water for optimal dolphin views! My mom and I lost count after so many sightings!

The Gibbes Museum/The Daily: I visited the Gibbes Museum for the first time to grab coffee with my friend Emily at their new Daily. We walked around the garden outside and it felt like we were in a completely different city – it was so beautiful!
