I love a good summer dress, however, you’ll rarely ever see me in a sleeveless look due to the fact that I’m not entirely comfortable showing off my arms. Does anyone else have this insecurity? My closet has thus become full of light jackets that will get me through the summer and are still perfect for fall and winter. I have been foregoing the jacket more and more as the temperature continues to rise in Charleston, but I still love to accessorize with a jacket. Lighter fabrics like cotton and linen are more bearable in the summer, so try to avoid leather and suede. I’m rounding up a few jackets/coats if you’re like me and want to bring along an extra layer! There is literally nothing better than a long, loose dress in the summer. I really like yours – the length would look terribly on me, but on you it’s very chic! I also tend to add some coat, jacket or a sweater, but I don’t know if it’s about my arms, or terrible big stomach! I have to really hit the gym soon 🙂
