One of the biggest trends of this year is the neck scarf simply because of its versatility. I love a good accessory, especially one that can be worn time and time again. I also find myself continuously buying fun prints and colors because there are so many options and they’re all reasonably priced! But let’s move away from just the “neck” in “neck scarf”. This is such a chic and timeless accessory, so play around with it, get creative, and try something new! Here are a few different ways to get you started.
- Around your neck (of course!) – First and foremost, the most classic way! A perfect way to jazz up an outfit and add a fun print. I suggest tilting it to the side for the best effect. This style will never let you down!
- Around your neck 2.0 – My new favorite style taught to me by my friend Laura! She wears it the best way I’ve seen so far (seen here). This is the most realistic and day-to-day look in my opinion. So easy to throw on while on your way out the door.
- In your ponytail – A style I wished I’ve tried out more because it’s so cute and easy! And with long hair, it’s almost always up, so I have no excuse. There are so many different ponytail hair scarfs out right now to choose from.
- As a headband – Go full Rosie the Riveter for this one. It’s a bit too 60s for me, but still really cute if you can rock it!
- On your bag – I have been doing this so much lately. Sometimes my everyday bag can use an update and I just love the extra added flair it can bring. It really looks great on any purse!
- Around your bag’s handle – This one takes a little more time than a simple tie, but is easier than it looks! Simply tie the very end of your scarf to one side of the handle and wrap until you’ve reached the other side. Tie this side secure and tuck in any extra ends.

I’ve been loving to wear scarves in my hair over the past few months! I think my scarf collection has tripled just because I love it so much. I also find it super chic, and just a little Parisian as well. I cannot wait for cooler weather to get into the chunkier scarves!

Most of my scarves are thicker than this neck scarf style. But I have been admiring the scarf around ponytail trend lately! My hair is really long too, so loving the inspiration in your pics!
