15 Minute Outfit - hillheady

It is now 6:00 and you are leaving the office after a long day of work. You have 1 hour until your big Valentine’s Day date with that special someone and you have no idea what you are going to wear (because, of course, we never have ANYTHING to wear – we’re all guilty of saying this while running 15 minutes late and throwing clothes on the floor). I’ve put together a stress-free guide to a simple, but elegant 15 minute outfit for all date nights – anytime, anywhere! I hope this can be of good use when you have NOTHING to wear!

First things first, I always have a simple and plain black dress in my stock (Let’s be honest, I have a plain dress in almost every color – you know it’s there and will forever be your go to piece!). This can easily be dressed up or dressed down for any date. So you wore this dress last time with your special someone? Not a problem! Throw a cardigan, bomber jacket, or even an oversized sweater over this dress and it’s a completely different outfit. I like this bomber jacket best from Swirling Honey, because of the orange lining on the inside of the jacket. Every now and then it peaks through and adds for a pop of color (my favorite) to this look!

Now time to accessorize – the best part! I’ve posted about these snake skin booties once before, and while they are a bold print, I’ve found they can go with almost any outfit! Adding another “go to” piece to the list! I’m also so excited to use this purse for every upcoming event! Imoshion always has the perfect bag for me. Stay tuned for more from this brand!!

Surprise! It’s actually a belt! When I saw this on the Free People website, I knew this would be a perfect statement necklace. So here is your friendly reminder that just because something is labeled as one thing, doesn’t mean it can’t be made into another!
